Correct Answer - Option 3 : 2

Given:

x2 + 1/x2 = 2

Formula used:

x2 + 1/x2 = k

⇒ x + 1/x = √[k + 2]

Calculation:

x2 + 1/x2 = 2

⇒ x + 1/x = √[2 + 2]

= 2
