Correct Answer - Option 2 : 300

Given:

Difference between two numbers is 50.

Calculation:

Let the two numbers be A and B. A decreased by 15% and B is increased by 19%.

According to statement, A × (85/100) = B × (119/100)

⇒ A × 5 = B × 7

⇒ A/B = 7/5

Now, difference = A – B = 7x – 5x = 2x = 50

⇒ x = 25

Thus, Sum = A + B = 7x + 5x = 12x = 12 × 25 = 300
