Correct Answer - Option 1 : 140 gm

Given:

The weight of the two metals is in the ratio 7 : 8.

Weight of compound = 2100gm

Calculation:

Let the weight of two metals be 7x and 8x

Then 7x + 8x = 2100 gm

⇒ 15x = 2100 gm

⇒ x = 140 gm

∴Difference between weight of these two metals is 8x – 7x = x = 140 gm
