Calculation:

Let the the number be x and y

Sum of two numbers = 10

⇒ x + y = 10                .......(1)

Product of two number = 24

⇒ xy = 24                     .........(2)

Divide eqn. (1) by eqn. (2)

(x + y)/xy = 10/24

⇒ x/xy + y/xy = 5/12

⇒ 1/y + 1/x = 5/12

∴ The sum of reciprocal of numbers is 5/12.
