Correct Answer - Option 1 : Rs.150

Given:

Time taken by A to complete the work = 5 days.

Time taken by B to complete the work = 10 days.

A and B takes Rs.1500 to do this work

When C joined A and B the work will get completed in 3 days.

Calculation:

Time taken by C alone to do the work = {1/3 – (1/5 + 1/10)}

⇒ (1/3 – 3/10) = 1/30

C alone can do the work in 30 days.

Ratio of amount distributed among each of them = (1/5 : 1/10 : 1/30) = 6 : 3 : 1

C’s share = 1/10 × 1500 = 150

∴ Share of C is Rs.150
