As per the question,

Let the average of whole team be x

⇒ \(\frac{{11x\ -\ \left( {31\ +\ 20} \right)}}{9} = x + 1\)

⇒ 11x - 51 = 9x + 9

⇒ 2x = 60

⇒ x = 60/2 = 30 years.

The average of whole team = 30 years.
