  • The Betul district is the source of the River Tapi.

 

  • Tapi River
    • The Tapti River is a river in central India between the Godavari and Narmada rivers which flows westwards before draining into the Arabian Sea.
    • Its origin is near Multai Reserve forest in MP.
    • From there it enters Maharashtra and flows through the western part of Vidarbha and Khandesh.
  • Beas River
    • The Beas River is a river in north India.
    • The river rises in the Himalayas in central Himachal Pradesh, India, and flows for some 470 kilometres to the Sutlej River in the Indian state of Punjab.
  • Tawa River
    • The Tawa is the Narmada's longest tributary, at 172 km.
    • It rises in the Satpura Range of Betul and flowing north and west, joins the Narmada at the village of Bandra Bhan in Hoshangabad District.
