Correct Answer - Option 3 : 4

Concept:

The geometric mean of the numbers a1, a2,...,an is given by  ⇔ G = \(\rm (a_1\times a_2\cdots \times a_n)^{\frac 1 n}\)

Calculation:

GIven data: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16

Geometric mean = \((1 \times 2 \times4 \times 8 \times 16)^{\frac 1 5}\)

\(=(1024)^{\frac1 5}\)

\(=(2^{10})^{\frac1 5}\)

= 22

= 4

Hence, option (3) is correct.
