Correct Answer - Option 3 : 50 

Calculations :

Numbers between 600 to 1000 where digit at hundred's place is less than digit at ten's place are, 

Numbers between 600 to 700 are (670, 671, 672,....... 699) 

Numbers between 700 to 800 are (780, 781, ...............799) 

numbers between 800 to 900 are (890, 891..................899) 

There are no numbers 900 to 1000 of such type 

Numbers between 670 to 699 where ten's digit is greater than unit digit (670 to 676, 680 to 687 and 690 to 698)

Numbers between 780 to 799 where ten's digit is greater than unit digit (780 to 787 and 790 to 798)

Numbers between 780 to 799 where ten's digit is greater than unit digit (890 to 898) 

Total number from 670 to 676 = 7 

Total number from 680 to 687 = 8  

Total number from 690 to 698 = 9 

Total number from 780 to 787 = 8 

Total number from 790 to 798 = 9 

Total number from 890 to 898  = 9 

Total number = 7 + 8 + 9 + 8 + 9 + 9 

⇒ 50 

∴ There are total 50 numbers of such type.
