Correct Answer - Option 1 : 2 Years

Given:

R = 25% P.A.

Principal = Rs. 1800

Interest = Rs. 900

Formula used:

S.I. = PRT/100

Where, P = Principal amount, R = Rate of interest, N = Number of years and S.I. = simple interest

Calculation:

According to the question,

Rs. 900 = Rs. (1800 × 25 × T)/100

⇒ 50T = 100

⇒ T = 2 years

∴ The time period of the investment was 2 years
