Correct Answer - Option 1 : 40 years

Calculation:

let be assume age of father is x and age of son is y

⇒ x - y = 30 .... (1)

⇒ (x + 5) = 3 × (y + 5) .... (2)

By solving both the equation

⇒ x = 40 and y = 10

∴ The required result will be 40 years.
