Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 1 : Rs. 99.6

Given:

Five people spent 15 rupees each on their meal

Calculation:

Let be assume average expenditure of all six person is p

⇒ Total expenditure of five person = 15 × 5 = 75

⇒ Expenditure of sixth person = p + 8

⇒ Total expenditure of all sixth person = 6p

⇒ 75 + p + 8 = 6p

⇒ p = 83/5

⇒ Total money they spent = (83/5) × 6 = 99.6

∴ The required result will be 99.6.
