Correct Answer - Option 4 : 100/7%

Given:

A shopkeeper calculates his loss of 50/3 % on selling price.

Calculation:

50/3 % = 50/3 × 1/100 = 1/6

That is, if SP = 6x , then loss = 1x ⇒ CP = 7x

∴ Actual loss percent = loss/CP × 100

= (1x/7x) × 100 = 100/7%

∴ 100/7%
