Correct Answer - Option 2 : 3 days

Given:

The person completes 3/4th of the work in 9 days.

Concept Used:

Total work = 1 part

Calculation:

The person completed 3/4th part of the work

⇒ Remaining part of the work is (1 - 3/4) = 1/4th part

3/4th part completed in 9 days

⇒ 1 part will complete in 9 × (4/3) = 12 days

⇒ 1/4th part will complete in 12/4 = 3 days

∴ He will take 3 days to complete the remaining portion of the work.
