Correct Answer - Option 2 : Rs. 6600

Given:

Amount invested by A, b, and C = Rs. 45000, Rs. 36000 and Rs. 54000

Number of years they stayed in partnership =  4 years, 3 years, and 2 years

B's share of profit = Rs 1800

Concept used:

The ratio of profit obtained = ratio of the product of amount invested × number of years for everyone

Calculation:

Profit ratio of A, B and C = 45000 × 4 ∶ 36000 × 3 ∶ 54000 × 2 = 5 ∶ 3 ∶ 3

It is given, B;'s profit = 3 units = Rs 1800

Then, total profit = 5 + 3 + 3 = 11 units

11 units = 1800/3 × 11 = Rs. 6600.

∴ The total profit obtained is Rs. 6600.
