Correct Answer - Option 1 : 28

Given:

Ratio of the two number = 1 ∶ 2

Calculation:

Let the two number be x and 2x

Now, A/Q

(x + 7)/(2x + 7) = 3/5

⇒ 5(x + 7) = 3(2x + 7)

⇒ 5x + 35 = 6x + 21

⇒ 6x – 5x = 35 – 21

⇒ x = 14

The two numbers are 14 and 28

∴ The greater number is 28
