Correct Answer - Option 2 : 29.5

Given:

Data: 12, 51, 22, 42, 32, 18

Concept:

The mean is the average of the numbers.

It is easy to calculate: add up all the numbers, then divide by how many numbers there are. In other words, it is the sum divided by the count.

Calculation:

Mean = \({12\; + \;51\; + \;22\; +\; 42\; + \;32\; + \;18 \ \over 6}\) = 29.5

∴ The mean of given data is 29.5
