Correct Answer - Option 3 : 35

Concept:

The relation between mean, mode and median is following:

Mean - Mode = 3(Mean - median)

Calculation:

Given Mean = 40 and Mode = 25

As, Mean - Mode = 3(Mean - Median)

40 - 25 = 3 (40 - Median)

15 = 3 (40 - Median)

5 = 40 - Median

Median = 35
