Correct Answer - Option 1 : 21

Given:

A number N is divided by 477 gives the remainder zero.

Concept used:

When a number N is divisible by a number M

Then the remainder will be the same as when N or M is divided by A, where A < M.

Calculation:

N and 477 will give the same remainder when divided by 57

when 477 is divided by 57 it will give

⇒ 57 × 8 = 456

⇒ 477 - 456 = 21

The remainder will be 21

The remainder will be 21 when N is divided by 57.
