Correct Answer - Option 1 : 0.2 x 106

Concept:

S-curve:

(i) The S-curve is a hydrograph by a continuous rainfall at a constant rate for an infinite period. It is also known as S-hydrograph.

(ii) The equilibrium discharge from the s-curve is

 \(Q = 2.78\frac{A}{T}\ {m^3}/\sec \)

Where,

A = Area of catchment (km2), T = Duration of strom (hr)

Calculation:

Given,

A = 120 km2, T = 6 hour

∵ \(Q = 2.78\frac{A}{T}\)

⇒ \(Q = 2.78\frac{{120}}{6} = 55.6\ {m^3}/\sec \)

Q = 55.6 × 3600 = 0.2 × 106 m3/hr
