Correct Answer - Option 2 : Rs. 120

Given:

Rs.680 is divided among A, B and C

A gets 2/3 of what B gets, and B gets 1/4 of what C gets

Calculation:

Let their respective shares be A, B, and C, respectively.

According to the question,

A + B + C = 680      ----(i)

A = (2/3) × B = (2/3)B      ----(ii)

B = C/4

⇒ C = 4B      ----(iii)

On substituting the values of equations (ii) and (iii) into equation (i), we get:

(2/3)B + B + 4B = 680

⇒ (17/3)B = 680

⇒ B = 120

∴ The share of B is Rs.120
