Correct Answer - Option 2 : 25 ∶ 18 ∶ 10

Given:

A gets Rs.7 more than what B gets

B gets Rs.8 more than what C gets

Total sum = Rs. 53

Calculation:

Let the share of C be Rs. x

B gets Rs.8 more than what C gets, B = x + 8

A gets Rs.7 more than what B gets, A = (x + 8) + 7 = x + 15

Total sum = (A + B + C)'s sum = x + 8 + x + 15 + x

⇒ Total sum = 3x + 23 = Rs. 53

⇒ 3x = 30

⇒ x = 10

Ratio of A, B and C share = (x + 15) : (x + 8) : (x)

⇒ Ratio of A, B and C share = 25 : 18 : 10

∴ The ratio of their shares is 25 : 18 : 10
