Given:

Price difference which required 

Concept:

(Quantity of Cheaper)/(Quantity of Dearer) = (Rate of Dearer - Average Rate)/(Average Rate - Rate of Cheaper)

Calculation:

⇒ Let be assume the price of water is 0 rupee

⇒ By applying the allegation equation,

⇒ (Quantity of Milk)/(Quantity of water) = (25 - 0)/(30 - 25) = 25/5 = 5 : 1

∴ The required result will be 5 : 1.
