Correct Answer - Option 4 : 25 km

Given:

Car A travels some distance which \(33\frac{1}{3}\% \) more than the distance travelled by Car B.

Car B travels at speed of 50 km/hr for \(7\frac{1}{2}\) hours.

Car C travels a distance of 400 km at 20% less speed than Car B.

Concept Used:

Distance = Speed × Time

Calculation:

Car B travels at speed of 50 km/hr for \(7\frac{1}{2}\) hours.

The distance travels by Car B = 50 × \(7\frac{1}{2}\)

⇒ 50 × 15/2 = 25 × 15 = 375 km

Car C travels a distance of 400 km

The difference between the distance travelled by Car B and Car C = 400 - 375 = 25 km

∴ The difference between the distance travelled by Car B and Car C is 25 km.
