Given:

HR manager = Rs 300 avg

Senior managers = Rs 1400 avg

Executives = Rs 800 avg

HR: Senior managers = 3: 14

Avg salary senior manager + executives = Rs 900

 

Calculation:

Let total salary paid to hr and senior manager be 3X and 14X

Total number of senior managers = 14X/ 1400

⇒ 14X + (120 × 800) = 900 × ((X/ 100) + 120)

⇒ 14X + 96000 = 9 × (X + 12000)

⇒ 14X – 9X = 108000 - 96000

⇒ 5X = 12000

⇒ X = 2400

⇒ Number of senior managers = 24

⇒ Number of HR managers = 24

Total employees = 24 + 24 + 120

∴ Total number of employees is 168
