Given:

Cost of 1 book = Rs.240

Cost of 1 Note book = Rs.65

Calculation:

Cost of 3 Books = Rs.240 × 3 = Rs.720

Cost of 12 Note books = Rs.65 × 12 = Rs.780

So, Total cost of 3 Books and 12 Note books = Rs.720 + Rs.780 = Rs.1500

As man has only Rs.50 notes

Total number of 50 rupees notes = 1500/50 = 30
