Correct Answer - Option 2 : 3135

Given:

Total number of votes = 7600

Percentage of invalid votes = 25%

Calculation:

Th percentage of valid votes = 100 - 25 = 75%

Total valid votes = 7600 × (75/100)

Percentage of total valid votes, 1st candidate got = 45%

So, Percentage of total valid votes, 2nd candidate got = 55%

⇒ Valid votes that 2nd candidate got = Total valid votes x (55/100)

⇒ 7600 × (75/100) × (55/100)

⇒ 76 × 75/100 × 55

⇒ 19 × 15 × 11

⇒ 3135

The number of valid votes that the other candidate got was 3135.
