Correct Answer - Option 4 : 44 kg

GIVEN:
Average weight of A, B, C = 56

Average weight of A, B = 52

Average weight of B, C = 54

FORMULA USED:
Average = Sum of observations/Total number of observations

CALCULATION:

Total weight of A, B, C = 56 × 3 = 168 kg      ----(1)

Total weight of A, B = 52 × 2 = 104 kg      ----(2)

Total weight of B, C = 54 × 2 = 108 kg      ----(3)

From (1) - (2) we get,

C = 64 kg

Put C in (3)

B + 64 = 108

B = 44 kg

∴ The weight of B is 44 kg
