Given:

A and B can complete the work 75% of work in 36 days

Concept:

Work = 1/Efficiency

Calculation:

⇒ Let us assume the efficiency of A and B is 3x and 4x respectively.

⇒ A and B together can complete the work = 36 × (4/3) = 48 days

⇒ Total work = 48 × (3x + 4x) = 336x 

⇒ A alone can complete the work in = 336x/3x = 112 days

∴ The required result will be 112 days.
