Correct Answer - Option 1 : 101

Given:

Numbers are up to 200

Concept used:

1 is neither prime nor composite.

Average = Sum of all numbers/ Total numbers

Sum of AP = (n/2) × (First term + Last term), where n is number of terms

Calculation:

Numbers are 2, 3, 4, 5, .....  200

As the consecutive numbers are in AP

Sum of all numbers = (n/2) × (First term + Last term)

⇒ Sum of all numbers = (199/2) × (2 + 200) = 199 × 101

Average = Sum of all numbers/ Total numbers = (199 × 101)/199

⇒ Average = 101

∴ Average of all prime and composite up to 200 is 101
