  • The merger of CG Railway in Bengal Nagpur Railway - 1887
    • Nagpur ​Chhattisgarh Railway was opened in 1880 by the name of Chhattisgarh State Railway.

    • It was merged into Bengal Nagpur Railway in 1887.

      • To convert the Meter Gauge of Nagpur Chhattisgarh Railway into Broad Gauge.

  • Construction of Rudri Canal - 1912
    • ​Rudri Dam is one of the oldest irrigation projects situated on the Mahanadi River in Chhattisgarh.

    • This dam has been in operation since 1912.
    • In 1993, Rudri Dam was replaced by Rudri Barrage.
    • Drinking water is supplied from this dam to Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh.

  • Chhattisgarh College in Raipur was established on 16th July 1938.
    • It was established as a private and undergraduate college in the urban area.
