Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 3 : 38.46%

Given

Loss = 44%

Original weight = 1 kg = 1000 gm

Altered weight = 910 gm

Formula Used

Gain% or Loss% = [(100 – Loss%) × (Original weight/Altered weight)] – 100

Calculation

Loss = 44%

Original weight = 1 kg = 1000 gm

Altered weight = 910 gm

Gain% or Loss% = [(100 – 44) × (1000/910)] – 100 = [56 × 1000/910] – 100 = [5600/91] – 100 = 61.54 – 100 = - 38.46%

Here, the negative sign shows Loss.

His actual Loss% is of 38.46%.
