Concept:

When all the capacitance in a delta connected capacitors are equal, the equivalent capacitance in case of equivalent star connection will become three times.

When all the capacitance in a star connected capacitors are equal, the equivalent capacitance in case of equivalent delta connection will become (1/3) rd.

Calculation:

For a transmission line, three delta connected capacities each having 10 μF capacitance.

If converted to equivalent star connection, the value of each capacitance = 3 × 10 = 30 μF
