Correct Answer - Option 2 : 40 : 30 : 9

Given:

Initial investment ratio of A, B and C = 4 : 3 : 2.

After 4 months A and B invested same amount as initial.

After 6 months C withdrew half of its investment

Calculation:

Let initial investment of A, B and C is 4x, 3x and 2x respectively.

Then, A : B : C = (4x × 4 + 8x × 8) : (3x × 4 + 6x × 8) : (2x × 6 + x × 6)

A : B : C = 80x : 60x : 18x

∴ Ratio of profit of A, B and C at the end of the year = 40 : 30 : 9
