Correct Answer - Option 2 : 15 : 8

Given:

2 ratios are 5 : 3 and 9 : 8

Concept used:

If a : b  and c : d are two simple ratios, then their compounded ratio is ac : bd.

Calculation:

Compounded ratio of 5 : 3 and 9 : 8 is = 5/3 × 9/8 = 15 : 8
