Correct Answer - Option 3 : 9600

GIVEN :

X, Y and Z invested in the ratio  = 4 : 7 : 9

Total profit  = 15000

CALCULATION :

X get as an active partner  = 15000 × 20% = 3000

∴ Remaining amount  = (15000 ─ 3000) = 12000

∴ Share of Y = 12000 × (7/20) = 4200

∴ Share of Z = 12000 × (9/20) = 5400

∴ Required total share = (4200 + 5400) = Rs. 9600
