Correct Answer - Option 2 : 23785.20

Given:

Invest amount of Reshmi = Rs. 6000

Invest amount of Rahul = Rs. 8000

Time of investment of Reshmi and Rahul are 6 and 8 months respectively.

Calculation:

Investment ratio b/w Reshmi and Rahul = (6000 × 6) : (8000 × 8) = 9 : 16

Rahul got for being the working partner = [(23/4)/100] × 36000 = 2070

∴ Remaining profit = (36000 ─ 2070) = 33930

∴ Rahul's share = 33930 × 16/25 = 21715.20

Rahul's total profit amount = 21715.20 + 2070 = Rs. 23785.20
