Correct Answer - Option 2 : 8800

Given:

Investment ratio of A and B = 6 : 5

Donated amount of total profit = 10%

Share of B = Rs. 3600

Calculation:

Let, total profit = 100x

After donating the profit percent remaining profit amount = (100x ─ 10x) = 90x

Share of Company A = 90x × (6/11)

Share of Company B = 90x × (5/11)

According to the question,

⇒ 90x × (5/11) = 3600

⇒ 90x = 3600 × (11/5)

⇒ x = (3600 × 11) / (5 ×90) = 88

∴ Total profit = 100x = 100 × 88 = Rs.8800
