Correct Answer - Option 1 : Byte

The correct answer is Byte.

  • A byte is a sequence of 8 bits (enough to represent one alphanumeric character) processed as a single unit of information.
  • A single letter or character would use one byte of memory (8 bits), two characters would use two bytes (16 bits).
  • A kilobyte (KB) is 1024 bytes, a megabyte (MB) is 1024 kilobytes.
  • KB < MB < GB < TB < PB.

  • 1024 bytes = 1 Kilobyte.(KB)
  • 1024 KB = 1 Megabyte (MB)
  • 1024 MB = 1 Gigabyte (GB)
  • 1024 GB = 1 Terabyte (TB)
  • 1024 TB = 1 Petabyte (PB)

  • Bit a single unit of information with a value of either 0 or 1 (off or on, false or true, low or high).
  • A px (pixel) is the smallest portion of an image or display that a computer is capable of printing or displaying.
