Given:

Distance from Delhi to Noida = 100km.

Ram and Shyam start at same time from Delhi to Noida

Ram takes 6 hours more than Shyam to reach Noida.

Ram reaches the mid-point of Delhi and Noida 3 hour before Shyam reaches Noida

Calculation:

Let time taken by Shyam to reach Noida be A hr

Time taken by Ram to reach Noida = (A + 6) hr

Time taken by Ram to reach mid-point of Delhi and Noida = [(A + 6)/2] hr

According to Question,

⇒ A – (A + 6)/2 = 3

⇒ 2A – A – 6 = 6

⇒ A = 12 hr

Also,

Speed of Ram = 100/(A + 6)

⇒ 100/18 = 5.56 km/hr.

∴ Speed of Ram is 5.56 km/hr.
