Correct Answer - Option 4 : 5.26% profit

Given:

Cost price of Camera = Rs. 85000

Cost price of Memory cards = Rs. 4500

Cost price of Tripod = Rs. 5500

Selling price of whole kit = Rs. 100000

Formula used:

Profit = Selling Price – Cost Price

Profit % = (Profit)/(Cost price) × 100

Loss = Cost Price – Selling Price

Loss % = (Loss)/(Cost price) × 100

Calculation:

Total Cost price of kit = 85000 + 4500 + 5500 = Rs. 95000

Selling price of kit = Rs. 100000

Profit = SP – CP

⇒ Profit = 100000 – 95000

⇒ Profit = Rs. 5000

Profit % = Profit/CP × 100

⇒ Profit % = 5000/95000 × 100

⇒ Profit % = 5.26 %

Person got 5.26% profit in whole transaction.
