Correct Answer - Option 3 : 78.75

Given:

A/B = 160/100

C/[2(A + B)] = 55/100

Calculation:

∵ The ratio of A and B = 160/100 = 8/5

The ratio of C/[2(A + B)] = 55/100 = 11/20

Let, A and B = 8x and 5x

∵ C/[2(A + B)] = 11/20

⇒ C/(A + B) = 11/10

⇒ 10C = 11(A + B)

⇒ 10C = 11(8x + 5x)

⇒ 10C = 11 × (13x)

⇒ C = 143x/10

⇒ C = 14.3x

∴ % value of C more than A = [(14.3x - 8x)/8x] × 100

= [(6.3x)/8x] × 100

= 78.75%
