Correct Answer - Option 3 : Rs. 54

Given:

C.P. of 36 kg sugar = 1620

Profit = S.P. of 6 kg sugar

C.P. = Cost price

S.P. = Selling price

Calculation:

Here Quantity of sold sugar = Quantity of sugar bought - profitable sugar

⇒ Quantity of sold sugar = (36 - 6) kg

⇒ Quantity of sold sugar = 30 kg

So after selling 30 kg of sugar we get C.P. of 36 kg

So, 36 × C.P. = 30 × S.P.

⇒ Rs.  1620 = 30 × S.P.

⇒ S.P. = Rs. 1620/30.

⇒ S.P. = Rs.  54

∴ Roshan's selling price per kg is Rs. 54.
