Correct Answer - Option 4 : 10.625

Given:

The income of A = 60% more than the income of B.

The income of C = 45% less than the income of (A + B).

Formula used:

Percentage = {(Final value - Initial value)/Intial value} × 100

Calculation:

Let income of B be 100.

So, income of A = 100 + (100 × 60/100) = 160

Income of A + B = 100 + 160 = 260

And, income of C = 260 - (260 × 45/100)

⇒ Income of C = 260 - 117 = 143

Required percentage difference = {(160 - 143)/160} × 100

⇒ 170/16 = 10.625%

∴ C's income is 10.625% less than that of income of A.
