Correct Answer - Option 3 : 30 and 24

Given equation : 40 × 5 - 30 + 24 ÷ 6 = 181

Going with the options we check the values

option 1) 5 and 6

40 × 6 - 30 + 24 ÷ 5

= 40 × 6 - 30 + 4.8

= 240 - 30 + 4.8

= 214.8

option 2 ) 40 and 30

30 × 5 - 40 + 24 ÷ 6

= 30 × 5 - 40 + 4

= 150 - 40 + 4

= 114

option 3) 30 and 24

40 × 5 - 24 + 30 ÷ 6

40 × 5 - 24 + 5

= 200 - 24 + 5

= 181

option 4) 24 and 6

40 × 5 - 30 + 6 ÷ 24

=40 × 5 - 30 + 0.25

= 200 - 30 + 0.25

= 170.25

Hence, the answer is 30 and 24.
