Correct Answer - Option 4 : 5

Given

3a + 2b + 5 = 6a + 9

a = 2

Calculation

3a + 2b + 5 = 6a + 9

⇒ 3(2) + 2b + 5 = 6(2) + 9

⇒ 6 + 2b + 5 = 12 + 9

⇒ 11 + 2b = 21

⇒ 2b = 21 - 11

⇒ 2b = 10

⇒ b = 5

∴ The value of b is 5.
