Best answer

Suppose the quantities of water is 3x and 5x.

Given that

40 = \(\frac {3x \times +5x \times t}{3x \times5x} \)

\(40 = \frac {x(300 + 5t)}{8x} \\ 5t + 300 = 320 \\5t = 320-300 = 20°\)
