How many 5 digit numbers can be formed using the digits 2, 3, 5, 7, 9 between 50,000 and 90,000 if no digit being repeated in any number.

Digits to be used 2, 3, 5, 7, 9 and no. repeation is allowed.

5 - digit number lies between 50,000 and 90,000 are those which started from 5 and 7.

(i) Total numbers which is started from 5 = 4! = 24

(ii) Total numbers which are started from 7 = 4! = 24

\(\therefore\) Required total numbers = 24 + 24 = 48
