Three resistors A, B and C are connected as shown in the figure. Each of them dissipates energy to a maximum of 18 W. Find the maximum current that can flow through the three resistors.

Resultant Resistance in the circuit = 2Ω + 1/ 2Ω + 1/2Ω

= 2 + (1) = 3Ω

P = i2 R

i = √P/R = √18W/3Ω = √6 AMP
