Out of the total male visitors 14% order burger, 26% order pizza, 28% order fries, 18% order cake, and the remaining 154 order hotdog.

Given:

Total number of visitors = 1800

Number of female visitors order hotdogs = 147

Number of male visitors order hotdogs = 154

Calculation:

Let total number of male visitors be y

⇒ Number of male visitors ordered burger = (14/100) × y

⇒ Number of male visitors ordered pizza = (26/100) × y

⇒ Number of male visitors ordered fries = (28/100) × y

⇒ Number of male visitors ordered cake = (18/100) × y

Number of male visitors order hotdog = y – {(0.14)y + (0.26)y + (0.28)y + (0.18)y} = 0.14y

⇒ 0.14y = 154

⇒ y = 15400/14 = 1100

⇒ Total number of male visitors = 1100
